When I recently visited Bremen I stayed at the Prizeotel in the city. It is very close to the train station (out of the back of the station and turn left). It’s probably a ten minute walk to the town centre though. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good. I’d go back there.
