We popped to Moors Valley in February to climb at Go Ape. We couldn’t take a train ride however due to a derailment.

We like a trip to the pier to play on the machines.

Car boot sales

 

George hates going to care boot sales. But this chair was a pretty good purchase for George and I. And it meant George could take a rest.

Hugh’s fish fight

 

In February I bumped into Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. When i say i bumped into him i mean that i saw him speak near my office.

Hugh says save the fish. I agree.

A day at Go Ape

We took George and Grandad to Go Ape near Bournemouth in February

Grandad looks apprehensive.

George is actually listening to instructions.

Grandad enjoyed the zipwire.

Do You Realize? That all your stuff ends up at the car boot.

The Flaming Lips have wisely pointed out "Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die".












What they failed to say however, was what happens to your stuff. It all goes to Ford Car Boot sale (or your local equivalent).

We must buy some good stuff or the house clearance people are going to be very disappointed when our time comes.

A day in Edinburgh

I was in Edinburgh in February to speak at an ILC-UK event. I bumped into the lovely Cath O'shea.

And spoke to ILC-UK's biggest Edinburgh crowd so far (almost 150)

And stayed at a nice Premier Inn opposite the Castle.

Bedtime George

Cycle Bognor 2nd May 2013

Last night I went for a bike ride with Cycle Bognor/ Bognor and Chichester CTC. It was sunny and given I haven't ridden properly for over a year, not to hard on my legs.

We popped into the Gribble Inn and sat outside for a rest. A nice pub with their own brewery. And it looks like they do great food.
