Nothing for the cameras to film so they find a food vendor to talk to.
It seems that Garlands were this year’s thing.
My first meal at the festival. Vege curry of course.
There is NOTHING more fun than putting your head in a hole.
A Glastonbury stalwart. The steam boats.
Glastonbury is a big site. For the first 24 hours I used my Garmin (until the battery went). Over 23km walked.
Have a look at the satellite image to see the festival fields.
I also measured this in 2010. Here is the map from that year’s festival.
Arriving at Castle Cary
And now on site.
Tent up by lunchtime Wednesday
Time for a stroll.
The Other Stage on Wednesday afternoon.

Next stop on our holiday tour was Lyme Regis. We stopped for a couple of hours between Dorchester and Okehampton.
We strolled around the town buying a couple of Eye Spy books for the holiday. We also bought a few T Shirts.
I think we quite liked the town. Much nicer than Dorchester.
Pies for lunch.
